We are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to contribute to the development and execution of our business plan and long-term growth strategy. Through a rapidly growing network of global locations (currently 11  in US and 2 in Europe), our collaborative lab space model is uniquely designed for scientific entrepreneurs to test, develop, grow, and commercialize their game-changing ideas. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Accounts Payable (A/P) Manager at BioLabs Headquarters, located in Cambridge, MA, manages the Accounts Payable operations including designing, implementing, and maintaining processes that ensure effective and efficient results. This position conducts A/P-related month-end closing tasks. 



  • Build and maintain end-to-end processes and capabilities within the A/P function with a focus on operational excellence while ensuring proper internal controls. 
  • Own all A/P process, including processing and verification of invoice input and preparation of payment runs in MineralTree payment system, including issuing checks, ACH, and credit card payments. 
  • Provide excellent service to internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring that research and resolution of inquiries are completed in a timely manner. 
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policies and accepted accounting practices. 
  • Reconcile credit card payments to ensure accuracy for prepayment invoices, short and missing credit card charges. 
  • Manage and monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are up to date, including reconciliation of payments to account statements. 
  • Works closely with Marketplace team on vendor updates (payment method, etc.) utilizing MineralTree payment system. 
  • Collaborate with Marketplace team on projects and AP related training as needed. 



  • Minimum three years of A/P-related experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines. 
  • Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time. 
  • Knowledge of the industry and market conditions strongly preferred. 
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of e-procurement systems (Jaggaer, etc.), NetSuite and QuickBooks preferred. 
  • Customer service focused, with an excellent work ethic and optimistic attitude. 
  • Desire to be part of a team-focused environment.
